After strolling through the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame and Ski Instructors Hall of Fame, and just past the museum theater, you’ll find the official entrance and introduction to the Alf Engen Ski Museum. Recently upgraded, the entrance is alive with colorful large format imagery, a replica of Alf in flight, and a history of Park City’s evolution from mining town to ski town. Artifacts from the historic Ecker Hill ski jump are also displayed here.
Be sure to take a few minutes to explore the interactive timeline display which contains a wealth of information about Alf Engen, Ecker Hill, and Joe Quinney – the man considered the father of Utah’s ski industry.
