Zane Doyle (1916 – 2005)
Zane A. Doyle is recognized for his significant contributions as a ski sport builder. Resolute yet compassionate, the Ogden, Utah native painted his spot on Utah’s recreational canvas by guiding the development of Brighton from 1943 to 1987.
Serving skiers initially with a small T-bar lift, Brighton Ski Bowl, at the head of Big Cottonwood Canyon, became a major ski and snowboard resort under his stewardship and influence.
